ABSTRAKSesuai peraturan BAPEPAMLK Nomor: PER-09/BL/2012 Pasal 11 bahwa nilai estimasi klaim yang terjadi tetapi belum dilaporkan IBNR dihitung berdasarkan estimasi sentral atau estimasi terbaik best estimate dengan menggunakan metode rasio klaim atau salah satu dari metode segitiga run-off triangle method . Metode Chain-Ladder dan Bornhuetter-Ferguson adalah metode berbasis triangle yang banyak dijadikan standar oleh auditor dan perusahaan asuransi dalam mengestimasi cadangan IBNR.Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menganalisis daya estimasi metode cadangan klaim IBNR yang berbasis metode triangle. ABSTRACTAccording to regulations BAPEPAMLK Number PER 09 BL 2012 Article 11, the estimated value of claims incurred but not reported IBNR is calculated based on the estimated central or best estimate best estimate using the ratio of claims or one of the triangle method run off triangle method . Chain Ladder method and Bornhuetter Ferguson is a triangle based method that is used as a standard by the auditor and insurance companies. The aim of this study is to compare the predictive power of triangle methods in IBNR claims reserves estimation. Base on statistical measure MAD and RMSE, error on Bornhuetter Ferguson method is smaller in estimating the IBNR claims reserve compared with the Chain Ladder method.
