ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai penyebab dari timbulnya kendala pada kelompok shift kerja dalam menjalankan proses produksi di departemen produksi PT Manufaktur X. Selain itu penelitian juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui intervensi yang dapat diberikan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 4 empat partisipan, yang terdiri dari 1 satu manajer, 1 satu supervisor, 1 satu team leader, dan 1 satu operator produksi sebagai partisipan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisa pengumpulan data dan current undesirable - desirable condition, dapat disimpulkan bahwa inti permasalahan core problem yang menyebabkan kendala pada proses produksi departemen produksi PT X adalah rendahnya disiplin kerja pada masing-masing kelompok shift. Faktor-faktor yang digali dan dianalisa dalam pembahasan mengenai disiplin kerja adalah faktor ada tidaknya peraturan, faktor pengetahuan karyawan mengenai peraturan dan standar kerja, faktor performa kerja karyawan di masa lalu, faktor catatan kedisiplinan disciplinary records , dan kondisi psikologis. Intervensi didasarkan pada faktor kondisi psikologis karyawan di Departemen Produksi. Bentuk Intervensi yang disusun adalah melalui program pelatihan dengan pendekatan positive discipline untuk menerapkan disiplin kerja dengan menanamkan perilaku disiplin diri dan tanggung jawab tanpa perlu pemberian hukuman atau sanksi terhadap tindakan ketidakdisiplinan. ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the cause of the emergence of constraints on group work shift in running the production process in the production department of PT Manufacturing X. In addition, this study also aims to determine interventions that can be provided to overcome these obstacles. This research was conducted in 4 four participants, consisting of 1 one manager, 1 one supervisor, 1 one team leader, and 1 one production operators as participants interview. Based on analysis of current data collection and undesirable desirable condition, it can be concluded that the core problem core problem which causes problems in the production process of the production department of PT X is the poor discipline of work in each shift group. Factors that excavated and analyzed in the discussion of labor discipline factor are whether there is a regulatory applied in organization, employee knowledge about the rules and standards of work, employee performance in the past, disciplinary records, and psychological conditions. Interventions are based on factors psychological conditions of employees in the Department of Production. Intervention compiled shape is through a training program with a positive discipline approach to instill self discipline behavior and responsibility without punishment or sanctions against acts of indiscipline.
