Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim komunikasi organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja di organisasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantaeng, Sulawesi Selatan = The relationship of the leadership style and communication climate between motivation in government organizations Bantaeng Regency South Sulawesi Province

 Abstract

Tulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim komunikasi terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Kabupaten Bantaeng pasca berlakunya otonomi daerah di bawah kepemimpinan Nurdin Abdullah periode 2008-2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kombinasi dengan menggunakan desain Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontribusi yang dihasilkan oleh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi kerja walaupun hasilnya tidak begitu signifikan sebesar 6,2 , begitu juga dengan iklim komunikasi berkontribusi terhadap motivasi kerja dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 24,5 . Gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim komunikasi secara bersama-sama berkontribusi terhadap motivasi dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 24,5 . Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan Nurdin Abdullah adalah gaya pastisipasi. Iklim Komunikasi yang terbangun juga positif, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan mengedepankan nuansa kebersamaan dan saling terbuka dalam organisasi, serta mendukung adanya nuansa demokratis.

This thesis will describe how the effects of leadership style and communication climate on the work motivation of employees in Bantaeng Regency after the enactment of regional autonomy under the leadership of Nurdin Abdullah in the period 2008 2018. The method used in this study is a combination research method by using design of Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods. Results showed that there is a contribution of leadership style on work motivation although the result is not so significant at 6.2 , as well as communication climate contributes to work motivation with influence level of 24.5 . Leadership style and communication climate are jointly contribute to the motivation with influence level of 24.5 . Leadership style applied by Nurdin Abdullah is a style of participation. Communication Climate awakened is also positive, as shown by promoting the feel of togetherness and open with each other within the organization, as well as supporting their democratic nuances.
