ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang pendekatan aset komunitas terdampak bencana alam dalam pemanfaatan lahan relokasi studi kasus di Kabupaten Karo Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lahan relokasi sebagai modal lingkungan membutuhkan reorganisasi untuk meningkatkan daya lenting melalui pertanian konservasi tanah dan air. Kondisi aset komunitas dari beberapa temuan dalam penelitian ini perlu di tingkatkan kualitasnya. Faktor-faktor keberhasilan relokasi dengan pendekatan aset komunitas dapat terpenuhi seperti modal fisik, modal finansial dan modal sosial.Kata kunci:Pemanfaatan lahan, Relokasi, Aset Komunitas.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses asset approach natural disaster affected communities in land use relocation of a case study in Karo This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The results of this study indicate that the land reallocation as environmental capital requires the reorganization to improve agricultural resilience through soil and water conservation. Community asset condition of some of the findings in this study need to be improved quality.
