ABSTRAK
Jurnal ini membahas tentang puisi Arab di zaman Abbasiyah pada periode 750 ndash; 874 M / 132 ndash; 260 H. Pada perkembangannya, puisi arab mengalami kemajuan yang pesat di zaman dinasti Abbasiyah ini, salah satu pelopor kemajuan puisi Arab adalah peran dari khalifah saat itu. Menjadi lebih berkembang pada saat Dinasti Abbasiyah, pada perjalanannya dinasti ini banyak terpengaruh budaya asing yang masuk khususnya bangsa Persia, bersifat terbuka sehingga perkembangan puisi Arab ketika itu mengalami kemajuan. Dan kedudukan penyair saat itu juga disambut baik oleh para khalifah. Metode yang digunakan pada penulisan jurnal ini adalah metode studi pustaka dengan membaca buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan sejarah dan dinamika yang ada pada perkembangan puisi Arab. Setelah meneliti sumber-sumber yang ada, penulis mendapatkan tujuan dari penulisan jurnal ini, yaitu untuk mengetahui puisi arab di zaman Dinasti Abbasiyah pada periode tersebut, dan bagaimana perkembangan puisi arab di Dinasti Abbasiyah dapat maju hingga saat ini.

ABSTRACT
This journal discusses the Arabic poetry in the Abbasid era in the period 750 874 M 132 260 H. On development, the Arabic poetry made progress in this Abbasid dynasty, one of the pioneers of progress of Arabic poetry is the role of the caliph at the time. The method used in writing this journal is a method of literature by reading books relating to the history and dynamics that exist in the development of Arabic poetry. After researching the sources that exist, I get the purpose of writing this journal, which is to know Arabic poetry at the time of the Abbasid dynasty in the period, and how the development of Arabic poetry in the 39 Abbasids can go forward to the present.
