ABSTRAKPenerapan La Loi Debr pada sekolah swasta muslim di Prancis menjadi bahasan utama dengan melihat implementasi butir-butir yang terkandung di dalamnya. Kebijakan yang diterapkan sejak tahun 1959 tersebut memiliki kaitan dengan keberadaan sekolah swasta muslim di Prancis pada abad XXI. La Loi Debr membuat terciptanya suatu kontrak sosial antara sekolah swasta dengan negara. Hal ini menimbulkan beberapa regulasi pada sekolah swasta, seperti bantuan finansial dan penerapan kurikulum pengajaran yang telah ditentukan. Regulasi tersebut membawa kemajuan bagi sekolah swasta di Prancis, tak terkecuali sekolah swasta muslim. Selain regulasi tersebut, terdapat pula faktor-faktor lain yang mendukung kemajuan sekolah swasta muslim tersebut.

ABSTRACTThe practice of La Loi Debr on Islamic private schools in France is discussed by analyzing the implementation of its articles. Enforced since 1959, this policy corresponds with the existence of Islamic private schools in France on 21st century. Through La Loi Debr , private schools in France could establish a social contract with the government. This contract creates certain beneficial regulations for the private schools, such as financial aid and standardized curriculum practice. These regulations carry positive impacts on private schools in France including the Islamic private schools. Besides, there are other factors which support the advancement of Islamic private schools.
