Saat ini usia menarche remaja putri di Indonesia lebih cepat dibanding beberapa waktu lalu, hal tersebut dapat dipengaruhi berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan status gizi dan aktivitas fisik dengan usia menarche. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif. Sampel penelitian yakni 87 remaja putri kelas 5 dan 6 sebuah sekolah dasar (SD), serta kelas 1 dan 2 sebuah sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) di Jakarta Timur yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Kuesioner penelitian ini meliputi usia menarche, status gizi, dan aktivitas fisik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan status gizi dengan usia menarche, tetapi usia menarche berhubungan dengan aktivitas fisik. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk memberikan informasi tentang menarche kepada masyarakat dan mempersiapkan ibu jika anaknya mengalami menarche yang lebih cepat.

Nutritional Status, Physical Activity and the Age of Menarche of Female Adolescence. Empirical surveys have found that the age of menarche among female adolescent in Indonesia seems faster. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between nutrition status and physical activity with age of menarche in female adolescent. This study employed a descriptive correlative design. The sample were 87 girls in 5th and 6th grade of elementary school and also 1st and 2nd grade of junior high school in East Jakarta selected using cluster sampling technique.The results showed that there was no relationship between nutrition status and age of menarche, and there was relationship between physical activities with age of menarche. It is suggested that information about menarche should be provided to the community and to prepare the mothers if their child experiences menarche faster.
