ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas upaya pemenuhan kesejahteraan anak pemulung terkait kebutuhan dibidang pendidikan dan kesehatan anak yang dilakukan di Pusat kegiatan BelajarMasyarakat PKBM yang ada di komunitas pemulung di area Tempat Pembuangan Akhir TPA Sumur Batu Bantar Gebang Bekasi serta faktor risiko dan faktor pelindung padaanak pemulung yang mempengaruhi pemenuhan kesejahteraan anak pemulung. Penelitianini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan informan darikepala sekolah dan guru PKBM, anak pemulung serta orangtua pemulung. Hasil penelitianmenggambarkan kondisi pendidikan dan kesehatan anak pemulung kemudian upaya yangdilakukan PKBM dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan dan kesehatan, sertaadanya faktor risiko dan faktor pelindung yang mempengaruhi anak di setiap tingkatan darimicro-, meso- dan exo-system.
ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses fulfillment effort for child scavengers welfare that related to the needsin education and health, that conducted at Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat PKBM Community Learning Center in the scavenging community in the dumpsite area atSumur Batu Bantar Gebang Bekasi. discussed well as risk factors and protective factors inchild scavengers that affect the fulfillment of the child scavengers welfare. This researchused qualitative method with descriptive approach, the informant for this research is fromprincipal and teacher of PKBM, child scavengers and parent from child scavenger. Theresult of the study describes the condition of child scavengers education and health, andthan the efforts made by PKBM in order to fulfill the educational and health needs, as wellas the existence of risk factors and protective factors affecting children at every level ofmicro system, meso system and exo system
