ABSTRAK
Rangkap Jabatan Notaris di luar daerah kerja PPAT dapat menyebabkanpemberhentian jabatan PPAT. Hal ini diatur dalam PP Nomor 24 Tahun2016. Dalam Pasal 10 ayat (4) PP Nomor 24 Tahun 2016 tentangPerubahan Atas Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 37 Tahun 1998 tentangPeraturan Jabatan Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah mengatur bahwa PPATakan diberhentikan sementara jika telah diangkat dan mengangkatsumpah jabatan Notaris di luar daerah kerja PPAT jika telah diangkat danmengangkat sumpah jabatan Notaris di luar daerah kerja PPAT.Pengaturan pasal ini belum diberlakukan hingga penulisan tesis ini dibuatsehingga penulis hendak menganalisa jika pasal tersebut diberlakukan.Adapun permasalahan dalam tesis ini yaitu bagaimana pemberlakuanefektif pemberhentian sementara itu dan bagaimana status hukum sertapenerapan pemberhentian sementara itu sendiri. Penelitian inimengunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan menggunakan datasekunder. Dari penelitian ini penulis menyimpulkan bahwapemberhentian sementara PPAT ini akan menimbulkan kerancuan padastatus PPAT itu sendiri. Pengaturan pasal ini dapat menyebabkandegredasi akta sebelum dikeluarkannya SK Pemberhentian SementaraPPAT.

ABSTRACT
Multiple positions of Notary outside the jurisdiction of PPAT can cause adiscontinuation as PPAT. It is stipulated under Government RegulationNumber 24 of 2016. Under Article 10 verse (4) Government Regulationregarding Amendment of Government Regulation Number 37 of 1998regarding Regulation of The Position of The PPAT, stated that PPAT canbe temporarily discontinued if they have taking the oath/Notary pledgeoutside the jurisdiction of PPAT, if they have taking oath/ Notary pledgeoutside the jurisdiction of PPAT. The regulation of this Article has notbeen validated until this thesis completed, therefore Writer would like toanalyze in case the event of the regulation officially applied. As for theresearch question in this thesis, that is how the temporary discontinuationcan be applied effectively, and what is the effect that can be caused in theterm of legal status, along with the implementation of the temporarydiscontinuation itself. This research used juridical method, normativewith secondary data. Based on this research, Writer found that temporarydiscontinuation of PPAT has a tendency to create a confusion toward thestatus of the PPAT. The governance of this Article can lead to a deeddegradation before the Decree of the temporary discontinuationestablished.
