The thesis is trying to unveil the theme that is used in the text by analyzing it rsquo s narrative structure, characters and their characteristics, as well as the backdrop of the text. The methodologie applied is structural approaches that is also supported by several basic concepts of romantic drama. Analysis of the text rsquo s structure, characteristics, and backdrop, shows that as one of romantic drama, this story reveals the characteristic of that genre, which describes the theme of a love triangle between the main characters that ends with tragedy.
