Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk di Kota Tangerang, PDAM Tirta Benteng bekerjasama dengan PT. Moya ingin meningkatkan kapasitas produksi air IPA PT. Moya dari 500 L/detik menjadi 700 L/detik. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder dari instansi-instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kapasitas menjadi sebesar 700 L/detik mampu melayani kebutuhan air Kota Tangerang hingga tahun 2021. Untuk analisis kualitas air baku, parameter mangan dan fecal coliform belum memenuhi baku mutu air baku berdasarkan PP No. 82 Tahun 2001, yaitu >0,1 mg/L mangan dan >2.000 MPN/100mL fecal coliform . Sedangkan semua parameter kualitas air produksi IPA telah memenuhi baku mutu air minum berdasarkan PERMENKES No. 492 Tahun 2010. Hasil evaluasi IPA menunjukkan bahwa unit sedimentasi tidak memenuhi kriteria desain yaitu pada parameter waktu detensi 46 menit. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya penggunaan plate settler pada unit sedimentasi. Hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa untuk peningkatan kapasitas produksi IPA PT. Moya menjadi 700 L/detik perlu diimbangi dengan adanyaa penambahan unit-unit pengolahan, diantaranya 1 unit pompa dengan kapasitas 150 L/detik; 1 unit flokulasi dengan debit 200 L/detik; 1 unit sedimentasi dan pengubahan debit tiap unit menjadi 235 L/detik; serta 1 unit reservoir dengan kapasitas 5.000 m3.

Along with the increasing number of residents in Tangerang City, PDAM Tirta Benteng together with PT. Moya want to increase the production capacity of PT. Moya's water treatment plant from 500 L s to 700 L s. The data used in this research is secondary data from the related institutes. Results of the research shows that the increased capacity 700 L s is able to serve the water needs of Tangerang City until 2021. Raw water analysis shows that the manganese and fecal coliform parameters not met the water quality standards based on PP No. 82 Tahun 2001, ie 0.1 mg L manganese and 2,000 MPN 100mL fecal coliform . Analysis of produced water shows that the water has met drinking water quality standards based on PERMENKES No. 492 Tahun 2010.

The results of water treatment plant evaluation showed that the sedimentation unit did not meet the design criteria such as detention time parameter 46 minutes . It caused by the use of plate settler in the sedimentation unit. Evaluation results also show that to increase the production capacity of PT. Moya's water treatment plant to 700 L s, they need to add a few processing units such as 1 unit of pump with a capacity of 150 L s 1 flocculation unit with flow rate of 200 L s 1 sedimentation unit and changes of flow rate to 235 L s for each unit and 1 unit of reservoir with capacity of 5,000 m3.
