ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bukti empiris pengaruh cash level terhadap nilai perusahaan dan menganalisa keberadaan optimal cash level. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan perusahaan non keuangan yang listed di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2010-2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan non keuangan di Indonesia menerapkan optimal cash level pada cash holdingnya. Hal ini sesuai dengan teori trade-off yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat optimal cash level pada perusahaan. Selain itu, ditemukan juga bahwa cash level mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan secara signifikan.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine empirical evidence about the effect of cash level toward firm value and to analyze existence of optimal cash level The samples of this study are non finance firms which had listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange on 2010 2014. The results of this study show that the optimal cash level is exist in non financial firms in Indonesia. This result support the trade off theory that report there is optimal cash level in the corporate cash holding. Beside, the optimal cash level has significant effect on influencing the firm value.
