Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara sikap terhadap matematika dan strategi metakognisi dalam penyelesaian soal cerita matematika pada siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar SD. Pengukuran sikap terhadap matematika dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur Math and Me Survey M MS yang telah diadaptasi. Strategi metakognisi diukur menggunakan teknik think aloud menggunakan soal cerita matematika. Responden didapatkan dari dua Sekolah Dasar Depok berjumlah 89 responden dengan rentang usia 8 sampai 10 tahun yang berada pada tahap perkembangan operasi konkret. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara sikap terhadap matematika dan strategi metakognisi r=0,229.
