Secara analitik, section modulus berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan akhir kapal, dan massa berpengaruh terhadap faktor ekonomis. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membahas pengaruh section modulus, massa, dan bentuk geometri penegar terhadap kekuatan akhir penegar tersebut dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga.
ABSTRAKShips safety is highly dependent on the ultimate strength of the ship 39 s structure. To strengthen the ship plates, used the stiffener as a support or amplifier. Analytically, the modulus section affects the ultimate strength of the ship, and the mass has an effect on the economic factor. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the effect of section modulus, mass, and the shape of stiffener geometry on the ultimate strength of the stiffener by using finite element method.
