Taman kota sebagai ruang terbuka hijau merupakan elemen penting bagi kehidupan di perkotaan. Kota Depok mempunyai taman kota yang berfungsi ekologis, sosial, budaya maupun estetika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik lokasi taman kota yang dilihat dari aspek site dan situation serta hubungan karakteristik lokasi taman kota tersebut dengan pengunjungnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan keruangan dan menggunakan analisis statistik chi-square untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah karakteristik lokasi taman kota di Kota Depok dikelompokkan menjadi empat tipe taman yaitu Tipe Cukup Memadai Kurang Strategis, Tipe Memadai Kurang Strategis, Tipe Cukup Memadai Strategis, dan Tipe Memadai Strategis. Sebagian besar taman kota di Kota Depok termasuk pada Tipe Cukup Memadai Strategis dan Tipe Memadai Strategis. Karakteristik lokasi taman kota di Kota Depok tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan pengunjungnya. Berdasarkan jumlah pengunjung, kegiatan pengunjung, tipe pengunjung, frekuensi kunjungan, serta persepsi pengunjung mengenai taman kota, tidak terdapat taman kota di Kota Depok yang memiliki karakteristik lokasi khusus.

City park as a green open space is an important element for urban life. Depok city has a city park that serves ecological, social, cultural and aesthetic. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the city park location seen from the site and situation aspects and relationship characteristics of the city park location with visitors of city park. This research is a descriptive research with spatial approach and using chi square statistical analysis to see the relationship between variables.

The result of this research is characteristic of city park location in Depok City grouped into four type of park, that is type of "Cukup Memadai Kurang Strategis", type of "Memadai Kurang Strategis", type of "Cukup Memadai Strategis" , and type of "Memadai Strategis". Most of the city parks in Depok City are in the Type of "Cukup Memadai Strategis" and the Type of "Memadai Strategis". There are no relationship between characteristic of city park location in Depok City and visitors. Based on the number of visitors, visitor activity, visitor type, visit frequency, and visitor perception about city park, there is no city park in Depok City which has special location characteristic.
