ABSTRAKBerdasarkan laporan Join Monitoring Program JMP WHO/Unicef 2015, sekitar 51 juta penduduk Indonesia masih buang air besar sembarangan. Mereka masih buang air besar di samping sungai dan di pantai. Buang Air Besar Sembarangan BABS sudah merupakan kebiasaan yang tertanamsejak kecil, sehingga sulit dihilangkan saat dewasa. Desa Sukajaya adalahsalah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Jonggol, Kabupaten BogorJawa Barat, dengan luas wilayah 1.182 hektar. Secara administratif desaSukajaya terbagi dalam 2 dusun, 5 Rukun Warga dan 15 Rukun Tetangga.Wilayah Desa Sukajaya dikelilingi perbukitan kecil dan berada di dekatsungai Cipamingkis yang menampung aliran air dari sungai-sungai kecildisekitarnya. Kondisi sanitasi di Desa Sukajaya saat ini cukup memperihatinkan karena masih banyak yang belum memiliki jamban dansumber air bersih sumur . Hampir sebagian besar masyarakat desaSukajaya tinggal di rumah semi permanen dan banyak diantaranya tidak memenuhi syarat rumah sehat seperti terdapat kandang ternakmasih terletak bersebelahan dengan dapur. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas penulis tertarik untuk melihat bagaimana Gambaran masyarakat tentang konsep preventif terkait perilaku penggunaan jamban sehatmasyarakat desa Sukajaya, Kecamatan Jonggol, Kabupaten Bogor tahun 2017.
ABSTRAKBased on the report of WHO Unicef 2016 Join Monitoring Program JMP , about 51 million Indonesians still defecate indiscriminately. Theystill defecate beside the river and on the beach. Open Defecation has beena habit that is embedded since childhood, making it difficult to be removedas an adult. Sukajaya Village is one of the villages located in DistrictJonggol, Bogor regency of West Java, with an area of 1,182 hectares.Administratively Sukajaya village is divided into 2 hamlets, 5 RW and 15RT. Sukajaya Village area surrounded by small hills and located near theriver Cipamingkis that accommodate the flow of water from thesurrounding small rivers. The condition of sanitation in Sukajaya Villageis quite worrying because there are still many who do not have latrinesand clean water sources wells . Almost the majority of Sukajaya villagerslive in semi permanent homes and many of them do not meet therequirements of healthy homes as there are livestock pens still locatedadjacent to the kitchen. Based on the above background the authors areinterested to see how the public description of the concept of preventivebehavior related to the use of healthy latrine community Sukajaya, DistrictJonggol, Bogor regency in 2017.
