ABSTRAKLaporan magang ini bertujuan untuk membahas serta menganalisis prosedur audit atas pendapatan sewa pada PT MEM untuk periode yang berakhir pada 31 Desember 2016. Laporan ini akan membahas prosedur audit yang dilakukan oleh KAP ABC untuk akun terkait dengan pendapatan sewa PT MEM, serta menganalisis prosedur audit yang telah dilakukan tersebut. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, praktik audit yang diterapkan oleh KAP ABC telah sesuai dengan teori dan standar audit yang berlaku. Selama melakukan audit, isu yang ditemukan berupa kesalahan pencatatan periode transaksi oleh manajemen terkait pendapatan dari biaya listrik dan air penyewaan gudang dan perkantoran. Untuk itu, saran yang diajukan adalah pemberian pelatihan dan pengembangan sistem akuntansi oleh manajemen.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this report is to explain and analyze the audit procedure upon revenue from leasing of PT MEM for period ended December 31 2016. Author will explain the audit procedure engaged by KAP ABC for accounts related to revenue from lease of PT MEM, and analyzes the audit process performed by KAP ABC. Based on that analysis, audit procedures has complied with the theory and standards prevailed in the practice of auditing. During the audit, the issue which is found by the auditor is the misstatement of recording transaction period regarding revenue from utilities cost, such as water and electrical usage, from warehouse and office rent. Therefore, this study suggests PT MEM to give more training to its accounting department and improve its accounting system.
