ABSTRAK<>br>Tulisan ini membahas proses produksi dan koproduksi hoax yang dilakukan di media sosial Twitter dengan teori konstitutif kriminologi dan The Spiral of Silence. Banyaknya hoax yang beredar di Twitter menimbulkan ketakutan bagi masyarakat. Ketakutan dan keresahan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat merupakan bentuk teror. Teror yang disebarkan melalui media sosial Twitter, dapat disebut sebagai cyber terror. Salah satu hoax yang beredar dan meresahkan masyarakat adalah tenaga kerja China yang bekerja di Indonesia. Dalam proses produksinya, hoax sangat syarat dengan kepentingan politik dan ekonomi. Koproduksi hoax dilakukan oleh masyarakat melalui Twitter. Hoax yang dikoproduksi oleh masyarakat secara terus menerus menyebabkan teror menyebar luas. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini menemukan bahwa proses produksi dan koproduksi hoax sama dengan penyebaran teror, yaitu dapat menyebabkan keresahan dan ketakutan dalam masyarakat.

ABSTRACT<>br>This paper discusses the process of production and co production of a hoax on social media Twitter with constitutive criminology and the spiral of silence theory. The number of hoax that circulated on Twitter causing fear to the people. Fear and anxiety that felt by the people is a form of terror. Terror spread through social media Twitter, can be referred as cyber terror. One of hoaxes that circulate and disturbing for public is a working labor from China who rsquo s works in Indonesia. In the process of production, the hoax was provided by political and economic interests. The co production of hoax is done by the community through Twitter. Co production hoax by people constantly causing widespread terror. The conclusion can be found in this paper, the process of production and co production hoax have some similiarity with the spread of terror, which can causes anxiety and fear in the community.
