ABSTRAKHospitalisasi anak dengan atresia ani memberikan dampak kecemasan orangtua. Faktor yang berkontribusi pada kecemasan orangtua diantaranya ketidakadekuatan informasi terkait persiapan operasi maupun perawatan post-operasi. Kecemasan orangtua berdampak terhadap cara merawat anak dan pencapaian status kesehatan anak sehingga perlu ditangani. Karya ilmiah akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program edukasi dalam menurunkan kecemasan orangtua dengan anak atresia ani post PSARP. Hasil dari implementasi edukasi selama program perencanaan pulang terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan orangtua. Faktor lain yang diketahui berpengaruh terhadap kecemasan orangtua mencakup keparahan masalah anak dan kurangnya dukungan sosial. Penulis menyarankan diperlukan program edukasi melalui media tertulis/bergambar serta dukungan sosial dari grup orangtua dengan anak atresia ani guna meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen kecemasan.Kata kunci: Informasi, kecemasan, perencanaan pulang

ABSTRACT

Hospitalization on imperforate anal child effects on parent anxiety. Factors such as inadequate information about surgical preparation and post surgical care give contribution on parent anxiety. Parent anxiety effects how to care their child and health status of their child so need immediately handled. The purpose of this final scientific work is to evaluate the effect of education program for decreasing anxiety of parent with imperforate anal child. The result of education implementation on parent had significantly decreased parent anxiety. The other factors effect on parent anxiety are severity problem on child and lack of social support. The researcher suggests that education program through written picture media and social support form parents group are needed for increasing the effectivity of anxiety management.Key words information, anxiety, discharge planning
