ABSTRAKPeranan penting yang dipegang oleh industri farmasi untuk menjamin produk obat sesuai dengan tujuan penggunaan, memenuhi persyaratan yang berlaku dan tidak membahayakan konsumen dengan memperhatikan aspek keamanan, mutu, dan khasiat, oleh karena itu industri farmasi harus memenuhi prinsip-prinsip Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik CPOB . Salah satu kegiatan industri farmasi yang menunjang pemastian mutu obat adalah registrasi, setiap obat yang ingin diedarkan di masyarakat harus terlebih dahulu diregistrasikan ke Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan BPOM . Praktik kerja profesi yang dilaksanakan di PT Kimia Farma Persero Tbk dilaksanakan agar calon apoteker mampu melaksanakan praktik kefarmasian di industri farmasi, khususnya di bidang regulatori. Bidang regulatori bertugas menjamin perusahaan menaati semua regulasi dan hukum yang berlaku di negara tersebut, bekerja sama dengan badan regulator setempat untuk hal-hal yang spesifik CPOB, CDOB, peraturan promosi . Dalam praktiknya, apoteker yang berkarir di bagian regulatori memiliki tanggung jawab untuk berkoordinasi dengan semua departemen agar dapat mempersiapkan dokumen yang diperlukan untuk riset pengembangan dan produksi obat; berinteraksi langsung dengan pemerintah untuk mendapatkan persetujuan uji klinik, produksi, dan distribusi obat; serta sebagai pihak netral yang mampu menjamin kepada pemerintah bahwa suatu perusahaan telah mengikuti regulasi setempat.

ABSTRACTThe most important role of pharmaceutical industries is to ensure the medicinal products produced comply the intended use, comply the requirements and do not harm consumers by fulfilling safety, quality, and efficacy aspects, thus pharmaceutical industries must implement the principles of Good Manufacturing Process GMP . One activity of pharmaceutical industries that able to support quality analysis is registration, every medicinal product distributed to the consumers must be registered to Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan BPOM . Internship at PT Kimia Farma Persero Tbk was conducted in terms of giving the future pharmacists to do the pharmaceutical practices in pharmaceutical industries, especially in regulatory affairs. Regulatory affairs have the responsibility to ensure the industries obey the regulation and laws in the country, cooperate with the local regulatory to some specific subjects GMP, GDP, rules of promotion . Pharmacists who work in regulatory affairs have the responsibility to coordinate with all of the departments to prepare the necessary documents for research and development and medicinal products production interact with the government to get approval of clinical test, production, and drug distribution and as a neutral party warranting to the government that a company has followed the local regulations.
