ABSTRAK
Kesehatan merupakan hak asasi manusia dan salah satu unsur kesejahteraan yang harus diwujudkan sesuai dengan cita-cita bangsa Indonesia sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Kualitas kesehatan masyarakat tidak lepas dari kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, sediaan farmasi, dan alat kesehatan yang diberikan. Obat hanya boleh diproduksi oleh industri farmasi yang memiliki izin industri. Industri farmasi harus memiliki izin industri dan mengimplementasikan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik CPOB . Pembuktian implementasi dari CPOB ditunjukkan dengan diperolehnya sertifikat CPOB untuk industri tersebut. CPOB mengatur 12 aspek yaitu manajemen mutu, pesonalia, bangunan dan fasilitas, peralatan, sanitasi dan higiene, produksi, pengawasan mutu, inspeksi diri dan audit mutu, penanganan keluhan dan penarikan kembali produk, dokumentasi, pembuatan dan analisis berdasarkan kontrak, kualifikasi dan validasi. Sebagai bekal untuk memahami penerapan kompetensi Apoteker di industri farmasi dan aktivitas praktis profesi Apoteker di industri farmasi, maka PT Merck Tbk. memberikan kesempatan kepada calon Apoteker untuk melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker.

ABSTRACT
Health is a human right and one of the elements of well being that must be realized in accordance with the ideals of Indonesia as stated in the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. The quality of public health can rsquo t be separated from the quality of health care, pharmaceutical, and medical devices that are given. Medicine can only be produced by the pharmaceutical industry that has industrial license. The pharmaceutical industry must have the permission of industry and implement Good Manufacturing Practice GMP . Proof of implementation of GMP is indicated by obtaining the GMP certificate for the industry. GMP arranged 12 aspects of quality management, staff, buildings and facilities, equipment, sanitation and hygiene, production, quality control, self inspection and quality audits, handling of complaints and product recalls, documentation, manufacture and analysis based contracts, qualification and validation. As a preparation to understand the application of the competence of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry and the practical activities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry, PT Merck Tbk provides the opportunity for candidates to carry out the Internship of Phramacists.
