Penelitian ini membahas karakteristik gaya Indische Empire pada bangunan Stasiun Bogor. Penulis ingin menyoroti eksterior bangunan lama Stasiun Bogor dan upaya pelestariannya yang dilakukan oleh PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dari penelitian ini terlihat bahwa eksterior bangunan tersebut memiliki karakteristik gaya Indische Empire yang dipadukan dengan unsur modern dan renovasi berkala diupayakan untuk melindungi dan mempertahankan gaya bangunan lama tersebut yang kini menjadi cagar budaya di Kota Bogor.

This research gives an elaboration about Indische Empire style characteristic of Bogor Station building. The writer wants to highlight the exterior of the old building of Bogor Station and conservation efforts undertaken by PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero . The methods which is used in this research is descriptive qualitative. From this reasearch, it can be seen that the building rsquo s exterior has the characteristic of Indische Empire style combined with modern elements and renovation gradually attempted to maintain and protect the style of the old building which is now a cultural heritage in Bogor.
