ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Celebrity Worship, Love Addiction, dan Fear of Intimacy Pada Dewasa Muda Penggemar Idola Jepang. Sebanyak 117 partisipan yang merupakan dewasa muda penggemar idola Jepang mengisi alat ukur Celebrity Attitude Scale untuk mengukur tingkat celebrity worship, Passionate Love Scale untuk mengukur tingkat love addiction, dan Fear of Intimacy Scale untuk mengukur fear of intimacy. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik statistik Pearson Correlation menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan pada skor celebrity worship dan love addiction dengan nilai korelasi yaitu r = 0,706, dan p = 0,000, two tailed. Nilai korelasi positif tersebut menunjukkan semakin tinggi celebrity worship pada partisipan yang menyukai idola Jepang maka akan semakin tinggi pula love addiction mereka terhadap idola Jepang yang mereka sukai. Tidak didapatkan korelasi positif antara celebrity worship dengan fear of intimacy dan love addiction dengan fear of intimacy, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara worship dengan fear of intimacy dan love addiction dengan fear of intimacy.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to examine the relationship between celebrity worship, love addiction, and fear of intimacy among young adults who worship Japanese Idols. 117 young adult participants who worship Japanese Idols filled the Celebrity Attitude Scale to measure the level of celebrity worship, Passionate Love Scale to measure the level of love addiction, and Fear of Intimacy Scale to measure the fear of intimacies level. Data analysis using Pearson Correlation showed a positive correlation between celebrity worship and love addictions scores r 0,706, and p 0,000, two tailed. The positive correlation indicates that the higher participants celebrity worship level, the higher participants love addict level on their favorite Japanese idols. There is no positive correlation between celebrity worship and fear of intimacy, and love addict and fear of intimacy. Thus, there is no relation between celebrity worship and fear of intimacy, and love addict and fear of intimacy.
