Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak perubahan harga minyak terhadap return indeks sektoral pada periode pra krisis, saat krisis, dan pasca krisis finansial 2008 maupun pada periode 2006-2014 secara keseluruhan. Dengan menggunakan 10 indeks sektoral BEI sebagai objek, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bagaimana harga minyak mempengaruhi return indeks sektoral masing-masing industri pada periode-periode tersebut dengan menggunakan data harian melalui metode Ordinary Least Square untuk estimasi masing-masing industri.

This research aims to estimate the effect of oil price change on IDX sectoral index return pre crisis, within the financial crisis, and post crisis 2008 and also in 2006 2014 as a whole. By using 10 IDX sectoral indices as the object, this research shows how oil price change affects sectoral index return of each industry in those periods through Ordinary Least Square for each industry estimation.
