ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang rancangan alat deret hitung untuk anak-anak autis sebagaialat permainan edukatif dengan menggunakan metode QFD dan Usability Testing.Penelitian ini melibatkan anak-anak autis dari SLB Pelita Hati dan SLB Cipta Anugerahdi Jakarta Timur. Hasil dari rancangan alat deret hitung ini berupa prototipe berteknologitinggi yang sesuai dengan sifat dan kebutuhan anak-anak autis. Metode Usability Testingdilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada para guru sambil dipersilakanmenggunakan prototipe alat deret hitung ini. Didapatkan hasil bahwa alat deret hitunguntuk anak-anak autis haruslah tidak memiliki sudut-sudut tajam, dan alat permainanedukatif yang tidak anti air tidak akan mempengaruhi proses belajar mengajar di kelas.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses about designing an arithmetic progression tool for the autisticchildren as an educational playing tool by using QFD and Usability Testing methods.This research is involving autistic children from SLB Pelita Hati and SLB Cipta Anugerahwhich are located in the East Jakarta. The final output of this arithmetic progression tooldesign is a prototipe which contains of high technology that is suitable with thecharacteristics and the needs of the autistic children. The Usability Testing method isdone by giving questionnaires to the teachers and let them use the prototipe of thisarithmetic progression tool. The results of this research are that the arithmetic progressiontool should not has any sharp corners, and that if the arithmetic progression tool is notwaterproof, it would not influence any study activities in the class.
