ABSTRAK
Sikajau rimbo (Pterolobium densiflorum Prain) belongs to the Caesalpiniaceae family and was found growing at submontane zone at air Tarusan Nature Reserve, West Sumatera Province. It grows along river banks and hillslopes on rocky and sandy soils. It produces dense inflorescenes and winged pods with beautiful colour. Stem and leaf are thorny, which helps the plant to climb. Local people use the plant as a medicine for kidney-stone.
