ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai persetujuan tindakan medis informed consent pada pasien gangguan jiwa berat yaitu skziofrenia berdasarkan Hukum Kesehatan. Hal-hal yang dibahas ialah bagaimana informed consent terhadap pasien skizofrenia, tanggung jawab rumah sakit dan dokter terhadap pasien skizofrenia, dan analisis yuridis penerapan informed consent terhadap pasien skizofrenia di Rumah Sakit Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Grogol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis ialah yuridis-normatif, dengan sumber data yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa pasien skizofrenia yang masih memiliki kapasitas berhak atas informed consent baik untuk tindakan beresiko maupun yang tidak beresiko, informasi yang jujur dan lengkap tentang data kesehatan jiwanya, dan didampingi oleh pihak yang bertanggung jawab terhadapnya.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the approval of medical action informed consent in patients with severe mental disorder that is schizophrenia based on Health Law. The issues that will be discussed are how informed consent to schizophrenic patients, hospital and doctor responsibilities to schizophrenic patients, and juridical analysis of the implementation of informed consent to schizophrenic patients at Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Grogol Mental Hospital. The research methodology used by the writer is juridical normative, with data source obtained through literature study and interviews. The results of this study are that schizophrenic patients who still have capacity are entitled to informed consent for both risky and non risk action, honest and complete information about mental health data, and accompanied by the party that is responsible for it.
