ABSTRAK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pengeluaran konsumsi rokok terhadap kelangsungan pendidikan anak. Sumber data adalah hasil Survei Sosial ekonomi Naional tahun 2016. Unit analisis dalam peneitian ini adalah rumah tangga dengan kepala rumah tanga KRT usia 30 tahun atau lebih yang memiliki anak usia sekolah 7-18 tahun . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengeluaran rokok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kelangsungan pendidikan ank, bahkan setelah dikontrol terhadap umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, status pekerjaan KRT, dan daerah tempat tinggal serta status kemiskinan rumah tangga. Semakin besar proporsi pengeluaran rokok, semakin besar probabilitas anak putus sekolah.Kata kunci: Anak, Kelangsungan pendidikan anak, konsumsi rokok, putus sekolah, Indonesia

ABSTRACT
AbstractThe purpose of his study is to determine the effect of cigarette consumtion expenditure on educational contiuation of children. The data source is the result of the National SOocioeconomic Survey of 2016 . The unt of analysis in this study is households with household heads HHHs aged 30 years or older who have school aged children 7 18 years . the results showed that cigarette expenditure had a significant effect on the continuation of children 39 s education, even after controlling for age, sex, education, employment status of household head,place of residence, and household poverty status. The greater the proportion of cigarette expenditure, the greater the probability of dropout act.Keyword children, education continuation, cigarette consumption, dropout, Indonesia
