Praktik kerja profesi di Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Periode Bulan Maret Tahun 2017 bertujuan untuk memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di lembaga pemerintahan Direktorat Pengawasan Produk dan Bahan Berbahaya Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktek kefarmasian di lembaga pemerintahan, memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan praktek kefarmasian di lembaga pemerintahan seperti Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan BPOM , khususnya di Direktorat Pengawasan Produk dan Bahan Berbahaya. Praktik kerja profesi di BPOM dilakukan selama empat minggu dengan tugas khusus yaitu ldquo;Pengawasan dalam Rangka Kewaspadaan Traceability melalui European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed EU RASFF Periode Bulan Januari ndash; Agustus 2017 rdquo;. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini untuk melakukan deteksi dini atau kewaspadaan terhadap kemungkinan masuknya produk impor kemasan pangan atau bahan kontak pangan yang berisiko terhadap kesehatan.
