ABSTRAK
Agregrat lansia merupakan agregrat rentan mengalami hipertensi. Salah satu penyebab hipertensi adalah stres. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan relaksasi imajinasi terbimbing sebagai salah satu intervensi untuk menurunkan tingkat stres dan tekanan darah pada keluarga Nenek N. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan terdapat penurunan tekanan darah, yaitu dari 160/100 mmHg pada awal pertemuan menjadi 140/90 mmHg pada akhir pertemuan. Selain itu, terdapat penurunan tingkat stres diukur menggunakan Self Reporting Questionaiire dari skor 6 menjadi 4. Hasil asuhan ini menggambarkan bahwa relaksasi imajinasi terbimbing dapat diaplikasi sebagai salah satu intervensi untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan hipertensi.

ABSTRACT
Elderly is an aggregate that is vulnerable to hypertension. Stress is one of hypertension causes on elderly. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of guided imagery relaxation as intervention to decrease stress level and blood pressure in the Grandma N rsquo;s family. The result showed that there was a decrease in blood pressure, from 160/100 mmHg in the first visit to 140/90 mmHg in the last visit. In addition, there was a decrease in stress level measured using Self Reporting Questionaiire from score 6 to 4. The results of this nursing care that the guided imagery relaxation as one of the interventions to treat hypertension.
