Praktik kerja apoteker di apotek Kimia Farma No. 48 Matraman periode bulan Januari tahun 2018 bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengelolaan apotek, peran dan fungsi apoteker di apotek, mempelajari pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan di apotek dan juga cara berkomunikasi yang baik dan efektif dalam melayani pasien. Dalam satu bulan pengamatan dan praktik secara langsung, calon apoteker mendapatkan ilmu mengenai pengelolaan apotek dari mulai perencanaan kebutuhan sediaan farmasi hingga pemusnahan sediaan farmasi dan pelaporan yang harus dilakukan, praktik memberikan Pelayanan Informasi Obat PIO, konseling, dan swamedikasi juga didapatkan oleh calon apoteker. Tugas khusus yang diberikan yaitu berjudul Analisis Resep Obat Antihipertensi di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 48 Periode Bulan Januari Tahun 2018, tugas khusus dikerjakan dengan melakukan analisis terhadap resep yang masuk ke apotek pada periode bulan Januari dimana rata-rata obat antihipertensi yang diresepkan bukan pengobatan tunggal melainkan ada obat-obat lain yang dapat menunjang pengobatan hipertensi pasien. Hasil pengamatan secara langsung menunjukkan bahwa apotek Kimia Farma No. 48 menerapkan sistem pengelolaan apotek sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku meskipun ada beberapa aspek yang masih menyimpang dari peraturan akan tetapi hal tersebut masih dapat diperbaiki untuk masa depan dan untuk analisis resep tugas khusus, diketahui bahwa obat-obat yang diresepan tidak ada masalah dari segi farmasetik sampai dengan klinis seperti dosis dan interaksi obat.

The special assignment given was entitled Analysis of Antihypertensive Medicines Prescription at Kimia Farma 48 January 2018 Period, a special assignment is carried out by analyzing prescriptions that the pharmacy in January 2018 where the average antihypertensive medication prescribed is not a single drug therapy but there are other drugs that can support antihypertension therapy. Direct observation results indicate that pharmacy Kimia Farma 48 implementing a pharmacy management system accordance with the applicable regulations even though there are some aspects that still deviate from the regulations, but it can still be fixed for the future. For the analysis of prescription specific tasks, it is known that the drugs that are prescribed have no pharmacological problems like the clinical doses, drug interactions, etc.
