ABSTRAK
Penyakit penyulit akibat komplikasi diabetes 80 dapat dicegah. Pencegahan dapat dilakukan dengan pengontrolan diabetes salah satunya melalui peningkatan self care pasien. Laporan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teori self care Orem dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan pada pasien diabetes dengan berbagai komplikasi melalui metode case study dan literature review. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas masalah keperawatan yang muncul pada pasien diabetes adalah resiko ketidakstabilan glukosa darah, resiko perluasan infeksi dan manajemen kesehatan self care tidak efektif. Kesimpulan : konsep teori self care Orem dapat diterapkan dalam asuhan keperawatan yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pasien dalam mengontrol penyakitnya. Dalam laporan ini juga terdiri dari penerapan Evidence Based Practice dan Proyek Inovasi pada pasien dengan gangguan endokrin.ABSTRACT
80 complications of diabetes can be prevented. Prevention can be done by controlling the diabetes, one of them is through increasing self-care patients. This report aims to analyze the application of Orem self care theory in the nursing care provision on diabetes patients with various complications through case study and literature review method. The analysis results show that the majority of nursing problems which arised in diabetes patients are the blood glucose instability risks, infection expansion risk and the ineffective health management self care . Conclusion the Orem self care theory can be apllied in nursing care of diabetes patients aims to empower patients in controlling their diabetes.
