Penelitian yang bertopik ldquo;Makna Konotatif Lirik Lagu ldquo;Auf Uns rdquo; Karya Andreas Bourani ldquo; ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sebuah fakta bahwa masyarakat sekarang ini hanya sekedar mendengarkan lagu namun tidak benar-benar paham makna dari setiap kata yang menyusun sebuah lagu, terutama kata-kata yang mengandung makna konotatif.. Berhubungan dengan topik yang diangkat dalam karya tulis ini, tujuannya adalah untuk menjelaskan makna konotatif yang terdapat dalam lagu tersebut dan juga bagaimana kebahagiaan digambarkan di dalam lagu ldquo;Auf Uns rdquo; karya Andreas Bourani dalam albumnnya yang berjudul ldquo;Hey rdquo; yang dirilis pada tahun 2014. Adapun teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam pembuatan makalah ini adalah dengan metode kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat lima belas kutipan lirik yang mengandung makna konotatif dan kelima belas lirik tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kebahagiaan dapat diraih dengan kesetiaan, kebersamaan dan optimisme.

This research was done because the fact that people nowadays are no longer care about the meaning of songs they listen to, especially the ones that has connotative meaning. The chosen song that will be analyzed is ldquo;Auf Uns rdquo; by Andreas Bourani through literature study. Moreover, the purpose of this study is to analyze the connotative meaning found in Andreas rsquo;s hit song which was a huge success in the year it was being released 2014 . Not only the song that has such positive vibes, but also the lyric that filled with lots of positivity. It mainly tells us how to cherish people who stick with us through ups and downs and to always put 100 in everything that we do so we wont regret it any other day. Based on those fact, this study intended to find how happiness is describe by the song and It turns out that there are 15 citation of the lyric that has connotative meaning which tells that happiness can be achieved by being faithful, surrounded by loved ones and optimism.
