ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mengenai kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi apa kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa tingkat akhir dan bagaimana strategi pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi mereka. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Terdapat beberapa kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa tingkat akhir ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi yakni kebutuhan informasi untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir, mencari pekerjaan, dan hiburan. Strategi yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir ilmu perpustakaan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi adalah pencarian informasi. Para informan dalam melaksanakan strategi pemenuhan kebutuhan informasinya menggunakan sumber informasi daring dan tercetak. Sumber informasi yang digunakan dalam media daring oleh para informan berupa Google. Google digunakan sebagai mesin pencari untuk menemukan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Sumber informasi tercetak didapatkan oleh para informan dengan mengakses perpustakaan baik itu perpustakaan Universitas maupun perpustakaan lain.

ABSTRACT
This research focus on information fullfillment strategy. The purpose of this study is to identify strategies for meeting the information needs of student. This study use qualitative approach and case study method. There are several students information needs such as the needs to complete final assignment, finding a job, and entertainment. The strategies which used by students are information seeking. Informants use printed and online information source. Informants use Google as the main source of online information source. By searching from google, informants can seek more information sources which possibly contain the information they need. Not all information from the internet is accurate nor reliable. In that case, informants filter the information which they already gather to get the most reliable information. For the offline information source, such as book and other printed material, informants tend to go to the library. They go to the University Library or public library based on what their research are.
