Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pelaksanaan Peran Humas Kementerian Luar Negeri RI dalam Menangani Krisis, serta hasil yang diperoleh dari penanganan krisis tersebut. Konsep Peran dan Fungsi Humas, Humas di Lingkungan Pemerintahan, Manajemen Krisis, serta Peran Humas dalam Krisis digunakan untuk menjabarkan hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma post positivis, pendekatan kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, studi literatur dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kementerian Luar Negeri sudah cukup baik menjalankan Peran Humas dalam Menangani Krisis walaupun masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan yang masih harus ditingkatkan agar krisis dapat terselesaikan dengan lebih cepat.

This study aims to see the implementation of the Role of Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Addressing Crisis, and the results obtained from the handling of the crisis. The concept of Role and Functions of Public Relations, Public Relations in Environmental Governance, Crisis Management, and the Role of Public Relations in Crisis used to describe the results of the study. This study uses post positivist paradigm, qualitative and descriptive approach. Data collection methods used are in-depth interviews, literature studies and study documentation. The results showed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been good enough to run Public Relations Role in Handling Crisis although there are still some shortcomings which still must be improved so that the crisis can be resolved more quickly.
