ABSTRAK
Media sosial kini tengah menjadi wadah promosi yang paling efektif. Melalui media sosial, organisasi dan customers dapat saling berinteraksi. Perpustakaan kini juga memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai wadah promosi dan diseminasi informasi. Akan tetapi, belum tersedia media sosial yang khusus mewadahi promosi seluruh perpustakaan dalam satu platform. Oleh karena itu, penulis mengembangkan sebuah prototipe aplikasi mobile yang menggabungkan konsep media sosial dan direktori khusus perpustakaan. Penelitian ini disusun dengan metode eksperimental dan system development life cycle(SDLC)model prototyping.Tahapan dari SDLC model prototypingadalah penetapan tujuan, penentuan fungsi, pembangunan prototipe, dan evaluasi prototipe. Hasil dari penelitian berupa prototipe aplikasi yangberupa mockup serta evaluasi pengguna melalui uji coba usability. Evaluasi usabilitypada prototipe aplikasi mobileini menguji aspek learnability, efficiency, serta erroryang diuji coba pada 20 responden yang terdiri dari 10 user dan 10 librarian. Hasil dari evaluasi prototype aplikasi mobileini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, tampilan antarmuka pada prototype aplikasi mobile ini dapat dipahami oleh pengguna.

ABSTRACT
Social media has now become the most effective promotion platform. Through social media, organization and customers can interact to each other. Libraries nowadays use the social media as a promotion canal and also to disseminate information. However, there hasnt any social media purposed for accommodating promotion of all librariesin one platform. Therefore, writer developed a mobile application prototype which combines the concepts of social media and directory for libraries. This research is composed with experimental method mixed with system development life cycle (SDLC) withprototyping model. This research results the mobile application prototype in a mockup form and also the evaluation of users through the usability trial.The evaluation of the usability test on this mobile application prototype tests the learnability, efficiency, and error aspects which are tested to 20 respondents, consisting 10 users and 10 librarians. The result of the usability evaluation on this mobile application prototype shows that comprehensively, the user interface of this mobile application prototype could be understood by users
