ABSTRACT
Skripsi ini akan membahas tentang stereotip yang berkembang mengenai permukiman informal: slum dan squatter memengaruhi langkah pihak otoritas kota dalam hal ini Pemerintah DKI Jakarta mengambil langkah menangani permukiman yang ada di tengah kota jakarta yang kemudian beberapa permukiman tersebut dianggap kumuh dan tidak layak dijadikan tempat tinggal.
ABSTRACT
This thesis will disscuss the developing stereotype about informal settlement: slum and squatter that influenced the step of the citys authorities in this case the Goverment of DKI Jakarta takes steps to deal with settlement that are in the middle of Jakarta which then some of this settlement are considered slums and are not appropriate as a place to live.
