Hiperrealitas merupakan suatu kondisi representasi realitas ke dalam medium baru yang menyebabkan terjadinya peleburan antara realitas nyata dengan realitas semu. Arsitektur merupakan salah satu medium lingkungan pembentuk kondisi tersebut.  Elemen-elemen ruang membentuk atmosfer tertentu untuk memanipulasi sensasi yang memicu persepsi dan imajinasi manusia akan suatu realitas semu, yaitu dunia yang lain. Garden's by the Bay, taman ikonik Singapura, menciptakan pengalaman penuh sensasi akan alam yang berkesan di tengah kesibukan kota dengan struktur buatannya. Topik skripsi ini akan membahas bagaimana elemen ruang di dalam Garden's by the Bay dalam menciptakan pengalaman hiperrealitas.

Hyperreality is a condition of representation in which reality is reduce into a new medium which causes a fusion between real reality and the simulation of it. Architecture is one of the medium forming the condition. The element of space form a particular atmosphere for manipulating sensations that trigger human perceptions and imagination of a false reality, that is, another world. Garden's by the Bay, Singapore's iconic park, creates an experience of nature that is memorable amidst the bustling city with its artificial structure. This thesis topic will discuss how the elements of space in Garden's by the Bay create a hyperreality experience.
