Bioakumulasi Logam Berat pada Beluntas (Pluchea indica) dan Krokot (Sesuvium portulacastrum) di Tambak Blanakan, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat = Metals Bioaccumulation in Beluntas (Pluchea indica) and Krokot (Sesuvium portulacastrum) Plants from Blanakan Brackish Water Pond

 Abstract

Mangrove asosiasi merupakan daerah vegetasi yang tumbuh di daerah pesisir dibelakang zona mangrove sejati. Mangrove asosiasi jenis Pluchea indica dan Sesuvium portulacastrum dapat digunakan sebagai bioindikator pencemaran logam berat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kandungan logam berat pada akar, batang, dan daun dari Pluchea indica dan Sesuvium portulacastrum. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Juli 2018 di tambak Blanakan, Subang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive random sampling. Kandungan logam berat dianalisis menggunakan Shimadzu 6300 Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pluchea indica dan Sesuvium portulacastrum mampu menyerap logam berat. Kandungan Cu, Zn dan Pb tertinggi pada Pluchea indica, dengan konsentrasi masing-masing sebesar 18,61mg/kg di stasiun tiga, 27,40 mg/kg, dan 15,70 mg/kg di stasiun satu. Konsentrasi Cu, Zn, dan Pb pada organ Sesuvium portulacastrum dengan konsentrasi masing-masing sebesar,  8,88 mg/kg, 18,41 mg/kg, dan 14,55 mg/kg di stasiun 1, dengan konsentrasi tertinggi ditemukan pada akar. Sementara itu, pada sedimen kandungan Zn (101,27 mg/kg) > Pb (31,27) > Cu (10,88) pada stasiun 1. Berdasarkan uji manova 3 arah diperoleh bahwa organ tumbuhan, jenis tumbuhan, dan lokasi (stasiun) berpengaruh terhadap nilai Cu, Zn, dan Pb. Pluchea indica memiliki faktor biokonsentrasi Cu lebih dari 1 di semua stasiun pada semua organ (akar, batang, dan daun), sedangkan di Sesuvium portulacastrum pada akar. Faktor-faktor translokasi yang lebih dari 1 ditemukan pada Pluchea indica yaitu pada Cu, Zn, dan Pb masing-masing di stasiun 1 dan 3 daripada Sesuvium portulacastrum hanya pada Zn di stasiun 3. Penting untuk mempelajari kemungkinan Pluchea indica dan Sesuvium portulacastrum sebagai bioindikator dan akumulator logam berat.

Mangrove-associated plants is an area of vegetation that grows in the coastal area behind the true mangrove zone. Mangrove-associated plant are Pluchea indica and Sesuvium portulacastrum can be used as bioindicators of heavy metals pollution in the aquatic environment such as brackish water ponds. The purpose of this research was to analyze the heavy metals content in roots, stems, and leaves (Pluchea indica and Sesuvium portulacastrum). This research was conducted on January to Juli 2018 in Blanakan Ponds, Subang. Sampling was done using purposive random sampling method. Heavy metals content were analyzed using the Shimadzu 6300 Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Result showed that Pluchea indica and Sesuvium portulacastrum were able to absorb heavy metals. The highest Content of Cu, Zn, and Pb in Pluchea indica, respectively 18,61 mg/kg at station 3, 27,40 mg/kg and 15,70 mg/kg at station 1. Concentration of Cu, Zn and Pb in organ Sesuvium portulacastrum, respectively 8,88 mg/kg, 18,41 mg/kg and 14,55 mg/kg at station 1, with highest concentration were found in roots. Meanwhile, sediments of Zn content (101.27 mg / kg)> Pb (31.27)> Cu (10.88) at station 1. Based on manova test showed that plant organs, plant species, and location (station) affected the values of Cu, Zn, and Pb. Pluchea indica had bioconcentration factor of Cu more than 1 at all stations in all organs (roots, stems, and leaves), while in Sesuvium portulacastrum in roots. Translocation factors more than 1 were found in Pluchea indica for Cu, Zn, and Pb at station 1 and 3 respectively than Sesuvium portulacastrum only Zn at station 3. It is important to study the possibility of Pluchea indica and Sesuvium portulacastrum as bioindicator and accumulator of heavy metals.
