Praktik Kerja Profesi di Apotek Kimia Farma No.366 Depok Periode Bulan Juli 2018 = Internship at Kimia Farma No.366 Pharmacy Period of July 2018

 Abstract

Sistem kesehatan memiliki tujuan utama yaitu memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang aman dan berkualitas. Apoteker turut memiliki peran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan. Seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan obat-obatan, terdapat peningkatan risiko medication error serta masalah terkait obat lainnya. Salah satu tujuan dari pelayanan kefarmasian yaitu untuk mencegah terjadinya medication error sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas hidup pasien dan mencapai hasil terapi yang optimal. Apoteker perlu untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya sehingga dapat melakukan pelayanan kefarmasian yang sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa mengikuti Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) yang bertujuan agar calon apoteker mampu memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker dalam pengelolaan apotek, serta melakukan praktik pelayanan kefarmasian sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan dan etika yang berlaku, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian di apotek. PKPA dilaksanakan di Apotek Kimia Farma No.366 Depok. Kegiatan yang dilakukan selama PKPA diantaranya melakukan pelayanan informasi obat, pelayanan swamedikasi, telefarma, peracikan sediaan padat dan semipadat, serta penerimaan barang datang dari PBF. Berdasarkan hasil PKPA dapat disimpulkan apoteker memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam seluruh rangkaian pelayanan kefarmasian meliputi pengelolaan perbekalan farmasi dan pelayanan farmasi klinis sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan.

The health system has the main goal of providing safe and quality health services. Pharmacists also have a role to improve the quality of services in the health care system. As drug use increases, there is an increased risk of medication errors and other drugrelated problems. One of the goals of pharmaceutical services is to prevent medication errors so that they can optimize the quality of life of patients and achieve optimal therapeutic results. Pharmacists need to continue to improve their competencies so that they can do pharmaceutical services in accordance with the laws and regulations. Therefore, pharmacist students follow the Apothecary Profession Internship (PKPA) which aims to be able to understand the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in the management of pharmacy, as well as pharmaceutical services in accordance with applicable laws and ethics, have insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to pharmaceutical practice at the pharmacy. PKPA was held at Kimia Farma No. 366 Pharmacy Depok. The activities carried out during PKPA included drug information services, self-medication services, telefarma, compounding solid and semisolid preparations, and receiving goods coming from Pharmaceutical Wholesaler. Based on the results of PKPA, it can be concluded that pharmacists have duties and responsibilities in the entire series of pharmaceutical services including the management of pharmaceutical supplies and clinical pharmacy services in accordance with the laws and regulations.
