Parameter yang dipilih pada patient monitor ini sendiri yakni detak jantung, SpO₂, dan suhu tubuh. Pemilihannya di dasarkan pada kebutuhan pihak medis. Dan aturan klinis terkait medis pun juga perlu di kumpulkan. Metodologi nya sendiri meliputi durasi, tatacara dan tindakan medis. Di tambah dengan upaya mencari tahu tentang garis besar prosedur yang dijalankan di rumah sakit. Runutan program nya pun juga sangat berkaitan erat dengan scheduling dan time execution guna memastikan total waktu keseluruhan tidak melebihi durasi yang telah di tetapkan.
