Fasilitas pejalan kaki adalah sarana bagi orang untuk bepergian dan mencapai tujuan mereka. Ini adalah fasilitas yang dirancang untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan pejalan kaki. Banyak trotoar yang tersedia di kota Jakarta yang telah diberikan kepada pejalan kaki sebagai akses ke moda transportasi dan fasilitas umum lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa fasilitas yang terletak di sepanjang Stasiun Commuter Line Cikini, serta memastikan bahwa fasilitas yang ada memadai untuk memberikan keselamatan, kemudahan, dan kenyamanan bagi pejalan kaki. Fasilitas pejalan kaki di stasiun sebagian besar berfungsi sebagai pintu masuk bagi orang untuk menggunakan kereta. Kinerja fasilitas pejalan kaki akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Level of Service menurut Manual Kapasitas Jalan Raya dan Walkability Index yang dimodifikasi yang awalnya dikembangkan oleh Holly Virginia Krambeck dalam The Global Walkability Index. Hasil analisis mencerminkan perilaku pejalan kaki yang menempati trotoar dan juga menampilkan studi ini, tetapi masih ada unsur-unsur tertentu yang perlu diperbaiki. Sementara analisis indeks walkability menyimpulkan bahwa trotoar memiliki skor walkability 63,8, yang dikategorikan agak walkable. Seiring meningkatnya aliran pejalan kaki LOS, kecepatan berjalan, ruang, dan kepadatan trotoar juga meningkat.

Pedestrian facility is a tool for people to travel and get to their destinations. It is important that the facility is designed to accomodate the needs of pedestrians. Many sidewalks exist in the city of Jakarta that have granted pedestrians the access to transportation modes and other public facilities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of the pedestrian facility located just along the Cikini Commuter Line Station, as well as confirming that the existing facility is adequate to provide safety, convenience, and comfort for pedestrians. The pedestrian facility at the station mostly serve as an entrance for people to use the trains. The performance of the pedestrian faculity will be analyzed by using the Level of Service according the Highway Capacity Manual and modified Walkability Index that was originally developed by Holly Virginia Krambeck in The Global Walkability Index. The data required for determining the performance of the facility is obtained through video survey and field survey. The results of the analysis reflect the behavior of pedestrians occupying the sidewalk and also display the characteristics of the sidewalk itself based on the parameters provided by previous studies.According to this study, the sidewalk is consired to have LOS of A, but there are still certain elements needing improvement. While walkability index analysis concluded that the sidewalk has a walkability score of 63.8, which is cosidered to be somewhat walkable. As the LOS pedestrian flow increases, the walking speed, space, and density of the sidewalk also increases.
