ABSTRAK
Pada saat ini keselamatan transportasi jalan telah menjadi masalah global yang bukan hanya semata-mata masalah transportasi saja tetapi sudah menjadi permasalahan sosial kemasyarakatan. Kecelakaan lalulintas merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian utama di dunia dan jika tidak segera diatasi maka dapat diprediksikan akan menjadi penyebab kematian pada peringkat ke-5 di tahun 2030. Dengan faktor utama yang sangat mempengaruhi angka kecelakaan ini ialah faktor manusia yang memiliki pengaruh sebesar 80-90%, kemudian faktor kedua yang mempengaruhi tingginya angka kecelakaan yaitu faktor jalan dengan kondisi jalan di Indonesia yang masih banyak tidak mengikuti standar desain atau biasa disebut dengan inkonsistensi desain. Faktor jalan ini memiliki pengaruh sebesar sebesar 10-20% . Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis elemen geometrik jalan lurus dan tikungan yang mempengaruhi frekuensi kecelakaan dan menganalisis hubungan antara frekuensi kecelakaan terhadap konsistensi desain geometrik jalan melalui sebuah model. Dengan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh konsistensi desain geometrik jalan ini terhadap frekuensi kecelakaan di harapkan dapat digunakan untuk program-program dalam mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan yang terkait dengan masalah konsistensi geometrik jalan. Model yang diperoleh juga dapat digunakan untuk alat kuantitatif evaluasi dampak konsistensi desain pada keselamatan jalan. Pendekatan regresi poisson dan regresi negatif binomial digunakan untuk pengembangan model. Diperoleh hasil akhir model dengan bentuk eksponensial dan power yang dapat merepresentasikan dampak (kecelakaan lalu lintas) dengan efektif.

ABSTRACT
At present, road transport safety has become a global problem that is not only a matter of transportation but has become a social problem. Traffic accidents are one of the leading causes of death in the world and if they are not addressed immediately, they can be predicted to be the cause of death in the 5th rank in 2030. With the main factor that greatly affects the number of accidents is human factors that have an influence of 80-90 %, then the second factor that affects the high number of accidents is the road factor with road conditions in Indonesia, which are still many that do not follow the design standards or commonly called design inconsistencies. This road factor has an effect of 10-20%. This study aims to analyze the geometric elements of straight roads and bends that affect the frequency of accidents and analyze the relationship between frequency of accidents to the consistency of the geometric design of the road to the through a model. By knowing how much influence the consistency of the geometric design of this road on the frequency of accidents is expected to be used for programs in preventing accidents associated with the problem of geometric consistency of the road. The model obtained can also be used for quantitative tools to evaluate the impact of design consistency on road safety. The Poisson regression approach and binomial negative regression are used for model development. Obtained the final model with exponential and power forms that can effectively represent the impact (traffic accident).
