ABSTRAK
Hipertensi memiliki dampak kesehatan yang serius karena merupakan faktor risikopenyakit stroke, jantung, gagal ginjal, hipertrofi ventrikel kiri dan demensia. Prevalensihipertensi di Indonesia semakin meningkat, menurut data RISKESDAS tahun 2018jumlahnya mencapai 34,1% dan merupakan penyebab kematian nomor dua tertinggi daripenyakit tidak menular. Polisi merupakan profesi dengan tingkat stres yang tinggi danwaktu kerja yang dapat mengganggu pola tidur yang merupakan faktor risiko terjadinyahipertensi. Penelitian pada tesis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor dominan kejadianhipertensi pada polisi operasional lapangan di lima satuan terpilih di Polres KabupatenLampung Timur Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatifmenggunakan data primer dengan desain cross-sectional (potong lintang). Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara obesitas dengan kejadianhipertensi (p=0,024) dan tidak ada hubungan antara usia, aktivitas fisik, kebiasaanmerokok, durasi tidur, stres, asupan natrium, asupan kalium serta konsumsi sayur danbuah dengan kejadian hipertensi. Proporsi kejadian hipertensi yaitu 32,4%, dengan faktordominannya yaitu obesitas setelah dikontrol oleh usia, aktivitas fisik, asupan natriumserta konsumsi sayur dan buah. Perlunya menerapkan gaya hidup sehat sesuai denganprogram Gerakan masyarakat hidup sehat (Germas) dari Kementerian Kesehatan danpemeriksaan berat badan, tekanan darah, kolesterol total dan trigliserida secara rutin agarselalu dalam keadaan normal.

ABSTRACT
Hypertension has a serious health impact, a risk factor for stroke, heart disease, kidneyfailure, left ventricular hypertrophy and dementia. The prevalence of hypertension inIndonesia is increasing, according to the 2018 RISKESDAS data the number reaches34.1% and is the second-highest cause of death from non-communicable diseases. Policeis a profession with high levels of stress and work time that can disrupt sleep patternswhich are risk factors for hypertension. The aims of this study is to analyze the dominantfactors of hypertension that occurs in the field of operational police in five selected unitsin East Lampung District Police in 2019. This research is a quantitative study usingprimary data with a cross-sectional design. The proportion of hypertension is 32.4%.Obesity is the dominant factor after being controlled by age, physical activity, sodiumintake and consumption of vegetables and fruit. There is a relationship between obesityand the incidence of hypertension (p = 0.024). No relationship between age, physicalactivity, smoking habits, sleep duration, stress, sodium intake, potassium intake andconsumption of vegetables and fruits with the incidence of hypertension. Healthylifestyles need to be applied in accordance with Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat(GERMAS) from The Program of Kementerian Kesehatan and routine examination ofbody weight, blood pressure, total cholesterol and triglycerides so that they are alwaysnormal
