ABSTRAK
This study discusses factors influencing the employability of Indonesian university graduates. Some aspects of soft skills were evaluated, incorporating studies in employer perceptions regionally and globally. Discussion includes spesific skills such as open-mindedness, resilience, and accountability that are desirable by hiring companies. In terms of concrete actions, a model of early job experience in the industry is favorable to provide workplace experience for university graduates. Implications for higher education are discussed.
