Esai ini membandingkan Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Darussalam Banyu dan Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Tanjung Rema. Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan wawancara, observasi atau observasi lapangan langsung, dan studi literatur. Dalam esai ini, penulis menggunakan teori Mujammil Qomar tentang unsur-unsur pesantren yang membedakan antara Salafiah dan Khalafiah. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Martapura Martapura memiliki dua konsep yang berbeda, yang terletak di pinggiran Banyu, mereka memiliki konsep Salafiah dan yang di Tanjung Rema memiliki konsep Khalafiah. Awalnya Pondok Pesantren Darussalam yang terletak di pinggiran Banyu hanya memberikan pelajaran awal, seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan meningkatnya minat masyarakat terhadap ilmu agama, KH. Badruddin sebagai pemimpin VII mengambil inisiatif untuk mengembangkan Pondok Pesantren Darussalam dengan menambahkan pembelajaran umum ke dalam kurikulum mereka. Namun, karena mandat pendiri untuk memisahkan antara pendidikan umum dan diniyah, Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, yang awalnya hanya di pinggiran Banyu, sekarang memiliki Pondok Pesantren lain di Tanjung Rema untuk pendidikan umum. Pondok Pesantren Darussalam di Tanjung Rema tidak hanya untuk pendidikan umum tetapi juga masih menyediakan pendidikan diniyah.
This essay compares the Darussalam Darussalam Banyu Islamic Boarding School and Darussalam Tanjung Rema Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this essay is a qualitative method with interviews, observations or direct field observations, and literature studies. In this essay, the author uses Mujammil Qomar's theory about the pesantren elements that distinguish between Salafiah and Khalafiah. The results of the study found that Darussalam Martapura Islamic Boarding School Martapura has two different concepts, the one that is located in the periphery of Banyu, they have a Salafiah concept and those in Tanjung Rema have a concept of Khalafiah. Initially the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School is located in the periphery of Banyu only providing early lessons, along with the development of the age and increasing public interest in the science of religion, KH. Badruddin as leader of VII took the initiative to develop Darussalam Islamic Boarding School by adding general learning into their curriculum. However, because of the mandate of the founder to separate between general and diniyah education, The Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, which originally was only in the periphery of Banyu, now has another Boarding School in Tanjung Rema for general education. Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Tanjung Rema is not only for general education but also still provides diniyah education.
