 Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode dan hasil penilaian sisa umur layan pedestal crane dalam kondisi telah melewati batas umur layan desain di PT. A dengan melakukan analisa terhadap pemenuhan peraturan perundang undangan serta standar internasional yang sesuai dengan pedestal crane. Terdapat 7 langkah tahapan dalam melakukan penilaian sisa umur layan pedestal crane dengan metode masing- masing di setiap tahapan. Tahapan diawali dengan penentuan mekanisme kerusakan dan penelaahan dokumen teknis pedestal crane yang selanjunya untuk menentukan variable availability dan variable reliability. Jika variable availability tidak terpenuhi maka pedestal crane direkomendasikan untuk tidak dioperasikan. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 2 pedestal crane dengan tag number B-PR-CR dan BE-CR, diperoleh hasil bahwa pedestal crane B-PR-CR masih aman digunakan selama 18 tahun kedepan dengan kapasitas maksimal sebesar 7.12 ton pada radius 5.49 meter dan pedestal crane BE-CR masih aman digunakan selama 44 tahun kedepan dengan kapasitas maksimal sebesar 8 ton pada radius 5.8 meter.

The purpose of this research is to identify method and results of pedestal crane residual life assessment with conditions exceeded of service life design at PT. A by analyzing the fulfillment of legislation and international standards in accordance with the pedestal crane. There are seven steps in assessing the remaining life of pedestal crane service with each method of each stage. The stage begins with determining the damage mechanism and reviewing the pedestal crane technical documents to determine of availability variables and reliability variables. The sample in this research are 2 pedestal cranes with tag number B-PR-CR and BE-CR, the results showed that the B- PR-CR pedestal crane was still safe to use for the next 18 years with 7.12 tons a maximum capacity at 5.49 meters of radius and pedestal BE-CR cranes are still safe to use for the next 44 years with 8 tons a maximum capacity at a 5.8 meters of radius.
