ABSTRAKPemakaian energi pada sektor industri manufaktur menjadi salah satu sektor penyumbang emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) terbesar. PT Yanmar Diesel Indonesia, sebagai perusahaan global di bidang manufaktur turut menghasilkan emisi GRK dari kegiatan produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghitung emisi GRK PT. Yanmar dari pemakaian energi tahun 2019 dan proyeksinya hingga 2030, (2) menganalisis sumber emisi GRK berdasarkan jenis gas, aktivitas dan peralatan produksi, (3) memetakan neraca energi GRK dari tiap fase aktivitas produksi, dan (4) menganalisis strategi penurunan emisi. Metode IPCC Tier 2 dipilih untuk menghitung besar emisi. Pemetaan dilakukan untuk menganalisis sumber energi dan neraca energi. Tiga skenario (optimis, realistis, dan pesimis) ditawarkan sebagai alternatif penurunan emisi GRK. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan total emisi dari tahun 2019 hingga tahun 2030 mencapai 5.368,1 Kilo ton CO2eq dengan rata-rata total emisi 447,3 Kilo ton CO2eq per tahun. Penyumbang emisi terbesar dari seluruh fase produksi adalah gas CO2. Fase proses penghasil emisi GRK terbanyak, dan fase output yang paling sedikit. Skenario yang paling disarankan adalah skenario optimis, karena memiliki target mencapai persentase penurunan emisi terbesar dibandingkan dengan skenario lainnya.

ABSTRACT

Energy consumptions in the manufacturing sector are one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gasses (GHG) emissions. PT Yanmar Diesel Indonesia, as a global company in manufacturing also produces GHG emissions from production activities. This study aims to: (1) calculate the energy use in 2019 and the projections until 2030, (2) analyzing GHG emission sources based on the type of gasses, production activities and equipments, (3) mapping the GHG energy balance from each phase of production activities, and (4) analyzing emission reduction strategies. The Tier 2 with IPCC methods were chosen to calculate the amount of emissions. Mapping is done to analyze the energy source and energy balance. Three scenarios (optimistic, realistic and pessimistic) are offered as alternatives to reducing GHG emissions. Calculation results show total emissions from 2019 to 2030 reaching 5,368.1 Kilo tons of CO2eq. The biggest contributor to emissions from all production phases is CO2 gas. The process phase that produces the most GHG emissions, and the least output phase. The most recommended scenario is the optimistic scenario, because it has the target of achieving the largest percentage of emission reductions compared to other scenarios.
