ABSTRAK
Seorang apoteker memegang peranan penting, salah satunya dalam bidang industri farmasi dan apotek. Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensinya sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke dalam dunia kerja. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk memahami perannya dan meningkatkan kemampuan kompetensinya, maka pada kesempatan kali ini, penulis bereksempatan untuk mengikuti kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT. Taisho Pharmaceutical Indonesia dan Apotek Roxy Pitara selama periode bulan Februari hingga Juni 2020. Selama PKPA ini, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi nantinya.

ABSTRACT
A pharmacist plays an important role, one of which are in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacies. Pharmacists are required to meet competency standards as a requirement in professional field and carry out their professional practice properly. Pharmacist competency standards in Indonesia consist of ten (10) competency standards as the abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter the professional field. As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to understand their role and improve their competence, on this occasion, the authors had the opportunity to participate in the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices (PKPA) at PT. Taisho Pharmaceutical Indonesia and Apotek Roxy Pitara during the period from February to June 2020. During this PKPA, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in the professional practice later.
