ABSTRAKPenyakit akibat infeksi corona virus baru yang disebut Covid-19 telah diumumkan oleh Badan Kesehatan Dunia. Salah satu keluhan pasien Covid-19 adalah batuk berdahak dengan karakteristik kental dan berwarna putih. Tindakan membersihkan jalan napas menjadi prioritas karena dapat menjaga kepatenan jalan napas dan proses pertukaran gas. Salah satu tindakan untuk membantu pasien mengeluarkan dahak yaitu latihan batuk efektif dengan teknik huffing dan hidrasi air. Paper melaporkan sebuah kasus Covid-19 positif dengan riwayat tuberkulosis paru. Seorang wanita berusia 61 tahun masuk ke rumah sakit dengan keluhan utama sesak napas dan batuk berdahak sejak 1 minggu sebelumnya. Pasien juga mempunyai riwayat diabetes melitus dan hipertensi. Hasil rongten torak menunjukkan groundglass opacities di kedua paru dengan kesan pneumonia bilateral. Hasil pemeriksaan antibodi total SARS CoV-2 reaktif dan apusan orofaring dan nasofaring hasilnya positif Covid-19. Hasil pemeriksaan fisik torak ditemukan ronkhi di bagian posterobasal kanan dan kiri saat diauskultasi. Patofisiologi batuk dan sesak pada Covid-19 meliputi faktor inflamasi dan hipersekresi pada paru. Setelah dilakukan latihan batuk efektif dan hidrasi minum air putih hangat membuat dahak lebih encer dan dapat dikeluarkan. Latihan batuk efektif dan hidrasi minum air putih hangat dapat menjadi alternatif tindakan keperawatan dalam menjaga bersihan jalan napas. Selain itu, penulis juga merekomendasikan tindakan lainnya untuk membantu membuka ventilasi dan memudahkan sekresi paru yaitu dengan pemberian posisi prone.

ABSTRACT

A new coronavirus disease called Covid-19 was declared by World Health Organization (WHO). One of the complaints of Covid-19 patients is a cough with a thick and white colored characteristic. The action of clearing the airway becomes a priority as it can keep the airway and the gas exchange process. One of the actions to help patients remove phlegm is an effective cough exercise with huffing and hydration water drinking techniques. This paper aimed to report a positive Covid-19 case with a history of pulmonary tuberculosis. A 61 year old woman came to hospital with shortness of breath and cough with phlegm since 1 week earlier as her main complaint. The patient also has a history of diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The results of the chest x-ray show groundglass opacities in both lung with a sense of bilateral pneumonia. The results of the examination of antibodies of total SARS CoV-2 reactive and smears the oropharynx and the nasopharynx results are positive Covid-19. The results of the physical examination of the chest found ronkhi at the posterobasal left and right when auscultated. Pathophysiology of cough and tightness in the Covid-19 includes the inflammatory factors and hypersecretion in the lungs. After the effective cough exercises and and drinking warm water makes the phlegm more liquid and can be removed. Effective cough exercises and hydration of drinking warm water can be an alternative nursing action in maintaining clean airway. In addition, the authors also recommend other actions to help open lung ventilation and facilitate secretion that is by giving a prone position.
